Our first fundraiser for Bryan Stow in June went great here at the store. We are happy to announce that every Thursday all proceeds from our batting cages will go to support the Brian Stow Fund. Our cages are open during normal store hours.

All proceeds from the batting cages at the store from June 17th – 21st will go to the Brian Stow Fund.

Brian was physically assaulted on March 31st at a Giants – Dodgers game in Los Angeles, CA. You can learn more about his story and recovery at the website For Stow.

As we have recently mentioned Jerry’s Sports is a proud sponsor of the Santa Cruz Junior Cycling Composite team. They recently returned from the State Championships. As a team they took 4th place out of 47 teams in the State of California. This is the first year the State Championships were a completely separate race from the regular season and only the top 80% of the teams qualified to participate in the race.

This is a significant achievement for the team and you will find the team members listed below and their placing.

The team has had a fantastic season. They have been all over the podiums at many races with a first place team trophy at Boggs Mountain, the toughest course of the season. They also took a third place team trophy at another race, qualified three riders for Nationals at the Sea Otter Classic, and qualified two more at the State Championship race. Overall the team qualified five of its nine racers!
